Hudson’s Bay Store, Amsterdam, Netherlands

5 September 2017 is a milestone in the history of the Canadian department stores’ group Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC): On this day, the first Hudson’s Bay shop outside Canada opened its doors. Located in the centre of Amsterdam, between Rokin and Nes, this Hudson’s Bay store accompanied the launch of the European online store. New HBC shops also opened in The Hague and Rotterdam. In total, nine stores opened in the Netherlands.
